Hi there,

I’m Haida, a clinician with over fifteen years of experience in mental health and education. My work has spanned therapeutic, teaching, research, and leadership roles, all with the goal of co-creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and supported. I was born and raised on the unceded ancestral and occupied territory of the sqílxʷ Okanagan People, where I grew up exploring the quiet old-growth forests of Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. That early connection to nature continues to influence my work today.

My educational background includes degrees in Psychology and Education, a Master's in Clinical Social Work, graduate training in Special Education, and advanced training in Trauma-Informed Practice. I’m currently pursuing certifications in EMDR, Canine-Assisted Therapy, and Nature-Based Therapy, reflecting my deep appreciation for creative expression, animals, and the outdoors. I specialize in working with young people, including neurodivergent and 2SLGBTQQIA+ individuals, and approach my work from a trauma-informed, integrative, and heartfelt perspective.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward well-being, I’d be honoured to support you.
